This day, we work in English with Megan.
First of all Megan, told us questions about The Golden Rule. We turn on the computers to search information about this topic.
The questions were:
1) What is the Golden Rule?
Is one should treat others as one would like others to treat oneself (positive form).
2) Why is the Golden Rule important to discussing Human Rights?
Because the Golden RUle is arguably the most essential basis for the modern concept of human rights, in wich each individual has a rigth to just treatment, and reciprocal responsibility to ensure justice for others.
3) In wich culture can we find the Golden Rule?
We can find the Golden Rule in western and in asian cultures.

La primera en exponer su noticia al resto de la clase fue María García, que habló sobre la situación en Arabia, en especial de las mujeres. Al final de la noticia expresó su opinión o la conclusión de ésta en ingles. Este tema ocasionó un debate con muchas opiniones.
La segunda fue Fee, que expuso su noticia entera en inglés. El tema era sobre Gadafi y la situación en Libia. De esta noticia nos enteramos un poco peor, ya que no la entendimos en su totalidad, pero aún así nos pareció interesante y también hubo opiniones sobre ella.

El tercero y último en explicar su noticia fue José Alcaide. Habló de las células madres y de los beneficios que trae el avance en este aspecto, pero no pudo explicar bien el tema ya que Antonio lo interrumpió varias veces apresurándolo. A nosotras nos pareció un tema interesante pero no pudimos enterarnos del todo.
Today Megan and Antonio show us a presentation about International Women´s day.
At first it explains what is International Women´s day, then it says how people celebrate them. Later it shows us a slide about Simone de Beauvoir, her life, about what she wrote, quotes by she... The last slides speak about what is existentialism, it refers about a school of thought that explores the nature of existence and the human condition, other famous existentialists and how can existentialist ideas the applied to feminism.
During this class we were giving opinions about what we thought about this matter.
